Data Consultants for Research (DC Research) formed in 2003 and it merged into The Cambodian Organization for Research and Development (CORD) in April 2011 and re-named as DC Research/CORD. CORD is a Local Non-Government Organization registered with Ministry of Interior in May 2007. DC Research/CORD has engaged in many types of research and consultancy projects mainly on rural development from AusAID, USAID, ADB, Plan International, PSI, PyD, MDGFUND by UNESCO, ILO, FAO and UNDP and other sub-contractor.

As Research Institution, we have diversity and multi field experiences since establishment until now. The below is highlight of our related previous experience to prove of our ideal and equal candidate for this opportunity and bidding. Highlight DC Research experiences with baseline and mid-term.  In the last 10 years, we have more than 100 of projects and work with more than hundreds professional staff, who come from diversify background. We are mainly focus Data Sciences, Business Intelligence, social enterprise, agribusiness and food, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and provide capacity building through project cycle management including reviewing project proposal, review logframe, redefine project indicators though baseline, mid-term and final evaluation.

Recently, DC has integrated Information Communication Technology (ICT), Data Sciences, Business Intelligence, Open Source Mobile Data Collection though Table, Smart Phone, Computer-Assistant Personal Interview (CAPI) to support M&E System where project management DC Research survey with real time monitoring and geographic information system (GIS) remote sensing analysis that provide a real time movement with specific location. It was deployed with Fulcrum Mobile Data Collection–AusAIDS-CAVAC Program, Open Source:  Open Data Kit (ODK) Mobile Data Collection & Field Monitoring with World Vision Cambodia on Exploitative Child Labour through Education and Livelihood (known as EXCEL) Project.

Late 2014, DC Research have collaborated with the Analyzing Development Issues Centre (ADIC) to a consortium business research and development, a Local Non-Government Organization registered with Ministry of Interior in May 2011, predecessor ADI (Analyzing Development Issues) project housed in Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC) since 1999 focus on capacity building on critical thinking thought participatory approach in rural development both government and local NGOs. It was acted as “DC Research/CORD-ADIC Consortium” with growth funded more than $200 K per annual with 10 Administrative full time staff and 10 Senior Professional staff provide management, coordination and backup support.
